David Mason Design established over 60 years ago, is a family owned company with a vast knowledge of retail, wholesale and overseas markets together with the expertise in design and sourcing. We are a world-class producer and distributor of Table, Dining and Homeware products.
Our Brands - David Mason Design, The English Tableware Company & Foxwood Home sit at the heart of the company’s great design heritage.
From our Head Office in Chesterfield we design and develop dining, kitchen and tableware products and supply them to department stores, homeware stores, supermarkets, garden centres, gift and cook shops, importers, distributors and wholesalers across the UK and worldwide.
We also design and develop bespoke ranges for high profile clients looking for top quality products to carry their own established branding.
Trend analysis is one of the many keys to our business. We work with our partners and distributors from an early stage, discussing new designs and concepts to develop for the coming seasons. We then create the products to meet those requirements, produce quality mock-ups within our UK design studio and present to the customer.
We use our carefully selected factory base in Asia to ethically produce the products. Our Hong Kong office team monitor the development and manufacture at all stages to ensure all are of the highest quality, the best possible service and delivered to our customers on time. Products can be stored and distributed from our UK warehouse or direct from a China Port. All orders are thoroughly inspected by our own established Quality Assurance Teams in the UK and China.

International Sales
David Mason Design International Sales Division works directly with our, distributors, importers, agents and retailers across Europe, Australasia, Africa, Asia and North and South America. Our experienced and well-travelled design team are well versed to the requirements of different geographical regions and create market leading products tailored to the needs and tastes of many countries around the world.
We also exhibit at trade shows which include Ambiente Frankfurt, International Spring Fair Birmingham and Exclusively Housewares London.
We are continually looking for new distributors, importers or agents in different regions of the world to sell our brands, David Mason Design, The English Tableware Company, Ashley Thomas for David Mason Design and Foxwood Home ranges.

Ethical & Social Compliance
Social and Ethical Compliance has never been as important as it is today. The responsibility to source product from ethical manufacturers who can demonstrate compliance through a factory audit is a key demand of the marketplace. Our experience of working with manufacturers in the Asia stretches back many years. These relationships extend to all our manufacturers who work to the highest industry standards, compliant with the ethical demands and continually improving to match the requirements of the world’s leading importers, wholesalers and retailers.
We have our own audit teams on the ground in China continually sourcing suitable factories. They then work closely with them to improve and then maintain the best practice standards on a continuous basis.
We are members of SEDEX and also work with the majority of Ethical & Social Compliance houses. We also have the ability to conduct our own in-house factory audits
